Debutante Ball
In 1972, Warracknabeal Secondary College hosted its first Debutante Ball in the Assembly Hall, with fifteen girls making their debut. This followed decades of the ball being held in the Town Hall. The debutante dances were the "Lucille" and the "St. Bernard Waltz". Since then, Warracknabeal Secondary College has hosted a debutante ball for students in Year 11. The ball is typically held in Term 2, in early May. The Debutante Ball is a highlight of the school calendar and showcases our senior students and the hours of hard work needed to present such a successful event.
